TERMS OF SERVICE , RATES AND  GUARANTEES  

 

Eco Landela recruitment and placements division refers Field Guides / Rangers / Management and Lodge staff for employment at various levels within the Lodge and Hospitality industry.

 

Prospective candidates are required to have the relevant qualifications and submit CVs with contactable references. Only suitable candidates are referred.

 

Eco Landela have also had vast experience  in training programmes within the industry and have an in-depth knowledge of regulations and required standards.

 

Recruitment rates are economical and all placements come with suitable guarantees.

 

Only when a selected candidate referred by Eco Landela commences employment will a fee arise to the employer.  All fees become due and payable by the client to Eco Landela at this point.

 

Should the client defer the appointment of the applicant, but the applicant is appointed within one year of the referral date, Eco Landela is entitled to the full fee and will invoice the client accordingly.

 

An introduction means the following:

· A telephonic referral of the applicant and his or her details by Eco Landela to the client.

· The receipt of a CV by the client: hand delivery, fax, email, registered and/or  ordinary mail or by any other means whatsoever from Eco Landela.

· The facilitation of an interview between the client and the applicant by Eco Landela

resulting in employment of the candidate in whatever capacity.

 .

 

The fee is calculated on the basis of the successful candidate’s commencing annual package, which includes guaranteed bonuses, allowances (i.e. any amount actually paid to the employee, regardless of what the amount may be termed).

If there is any dispute regarding the applicant’s salary package, then the fee payable shall be calculated on the applicant’s previous annual salary package.

  

Placement percentage Fee of Annual Remuneration:   

Up to R50 000                                                  10 %

R50 000,01 – Plus                                           12 %

Guarantee

 In order to qualify for our guarantee of three months, fees must be paid and received by Eco Landela within 2 weeks from the invoice date.

                                                                                         

Should a candidate hired on the recommendation of Eco Landela, leave your employment within the guarantee period, as specified above, for any reason other than retrenchment, Eco Landela will endeavour to replace the candidate as per the original vacancy specifications, free of charge, provided that the client has complied with Eco Landela’s requirements for the standard guarantee.  If Eco Landela is unable to find a suitable replacement, a credit note will be issued in favour of the client against the next place made through Eco Landela as follows:

 

·  If a candidate leaves the client’s employ within 31- 90  calendar days of placement, a credit note of 100% will be issued against the next placement.

   

There is a limit of one replacement per original vacancy specification.  All requests for rebates or replacements must be made in writing, within 10 working days of the last day of the applicant’s employment.

 

Should the candidate leave the client’s employ before Eco Landela has received payment, the above terms and conditions are still applicable.  Should you decide not to replace the recruit, the guarantee is null and void.  The above-mentioned guarantee is valid for a maximum period of six months.  If this guarantee is not utilised within the 6 month period, the guarantee becomes null and void.

 

When there is a difference in the amount of the invoices, such as between the fee for a placement and a replacement, credit notes are issued to cover the difference.  Conversely, Eco Landela will be entitled to payment at the applicable rate on the difference between the package of the original and replacement candidates.

Confidentiality

References are forwarded on a strictly confidential basis and shall not be discussed with the applicant.  As the applicant’s details are forwarded under strict confidentiality, you are requested not to contact or communicate in any way whatsoever with the applicant or any of his/ her current or previous employers without Eco Landela and/or the applicant’s prior consent.

  

Final Selection and Acceptance

The final responsibility for the selection of a suitable candidate rests solely with the client.  Therefore, Eco Landela cannot be held responsible for any damages of whatever nature arising from or caused by the actions of a candidate introduced by Eco Landela.

 

The granting of a recruitment mandate to Eco Landela by a client and/or the engagement by a client of a candidate introduced by Eco Landela will be deemed to be acceptance of our terms and conditions of business.  All terms, conditions, clauses and sub clauses found by a competent court to be void or for any reason unenforceable, shall not affect the remaining terms, conditions, clauses and sub clauses of Eco Landela’s terms and conditions of business, which terms and conditions shall continue to be in force and binding upon clients utilizing the services of Eco Landela.
